Pony
Express
is a Dallas based country band. Originating in the 1980's, the group has
performed on many stages across the western United States. They perform a
great mix of music from your favorite country and classic rock artists to their

Jonathan Bell
Hometown: Dallas, TX
He has performed on stage with many local bands around the Dallas/Fort Worth as well as opening for several National Country Music Stars. Jonathan was introduced at an early age to music when his father gave him his first guitar. Later his skills and personal drive led him to learn drums, violin, guitar, and electric bass. Many local musicians have contributed directly or indirectly to his success through guidance and influence. His credits include, but are not limited to: SilverHorse, Neon Moon, Kevin Christian Band, Deryl Dodd, Pat Green, Chely Wright, Aaron Watson, Radney Foster, Earl Thomas Conley, Rick Trevino and Sawyer Brown.
Joe Avery
Hometown: Fruitvale, TX
The longest running member of Pony Express. He was co-founder of Pony Express in the early 1980's and has been tearing up the stage with his guitar ever since. Through his vision and dedication to Pony Express, the name itself has always marked great entertainment! Joe has toured around the country over the years with Pony Express and has opened for many stars and shows no sign of stopping. John White.
Hometown: Irving, TX
A veteran of Pony Express, John has also graced the stages of many local and national acts. John is from a long line of very talented musicians and early in his career he also played with his brothers in the White Brothers Band.
Bob Tousley
Hometown: Royse City, TX
Bob is also no stranger to the big stage. He has played alongside many local artists and opened for big stars as well. Before joining Pony Express, Bob played with our good friend Coby McDonald.
Sonny Morris
Hometown: Memphis, TX
Sonny is the newest addition to the Pony Express! A highly regarded musician, Sonny has played along many great Major label artists- notably Janie Fricke- as well as on the Grand Ol' Opry.
